This funny white pvc contraption on my table was built by my Sweetie and youngest. They made it for me, for filming my first card making video. This is a big deal because my boys are not handy, they are technical and computer (geeks) savvy but building stuff is a stretch! I was touched that they wanted to help out my card making wackiness!!
Linking with AWESOME WOYWW and all the fun friends over there. On my work desk? All the wacky stuff for the video. I actually had to clean it up a lot from this picture. The first take I was so confused...all the unnecessary stuff got in the way. It was funny. Then I started having brain freezes....read more!

Clever boys. I don't know how it helps with your cards but good for them anyway

Ha ha the camera goes on top pointing straight down to film my card making tutorials.
I need a frame like that. I use my iPad very fast and lots of feet and floor photos to be erased.
Very good that you have them to make that for you.

That was super sweet of your boys to make you a video scaffolding and give s you plenty of space to still create :) Happy Easter hugs Nikki #12
So fun to have family involved with any project. Good luck with your video, I've not yet mustered up that technique! Would like to do my crafty space sometime. Thanks for following and stopping by. Have a great Easter
Hey Tam, how sweet is that :) I don't think my Hubby ever needs to build me anything! Good luck with the video. Cx #25
good luck with the scaffolding... and the videos! Helen 20
Much better idea than the foam core. I like it, Might have to make one myself. This would store well too. #36
That is such a good idea - perfect for filming art-making vids :)
Happy WOYWW!

I lovew that - just when you think your lovelies merely put up with your crazy, they dip in and help out and let you realise that they get you, take your thing as seriously as you do. And what a great result! Going to top up my coffee and hit the 'read more'!
I Loved it..am not good at watching videos, so love the speed, and I think your sister is right - bare arms for some reason seem better! I also think that you were working in your natural position in front of you, rather than try to remember to centre everything under the scaffold..bring the scaffold forward a bit..way more natural. And...how about considering writing the Card making Artists credit clearly in permanent pen on your pink board...then it will always be in shot, unmoveable. Covered up yes, but you'd get used to revealing it at some stage, or indeed, keeping it revealed....
It's a great card idea!
Brilliant - well done guys!! Hope it all works well for you.
Have a great Easter.

Will these be on the market soon? LOL Well done to the boys. It really is a great idea and bet the price was a lot better than buying one. I admire all of you making videos, but I'm thinking it would be nice to have one just for still shots too........hummmm
Thanks for the visit this week.

Hi Tam! I found you even without a number!!! Yay. That's something I started because there are so many people that join in. I want to be sure to visit the people that visit me.
The video is great! Way to go!!!
Thank you for visiting me earlier.
Happy belated WOYWW
Hugs, Kay (13)
I'm impressed.
Cool scaffolding. Good luck with your videotaping!
Hi Tam,
Thanks for visiting and leaving your funny comment on my Flat Susan post! Yep, she's a little polymer gal that fits in a matchbox. We had a great time with her. I don't play tourist in Santa Fe very often so she was a nice excuse to walk around the Plaza. I bought a nice turquoise leather backpack thanks to Flat Susan. Maybe I should take a photo of her and the purse before I send her on her way.
Hugs,
Kay
pretty nice blog, following :)
Cool! It was much cheaper than buying one of these contraptions, it looks very sturdy, and it was truly a nice gesture. Blessings!
You should do a tutorial on how to build something like this!
