June the giraffe! I think she is a cousin or something of April. Remember pregnant April the giraffe? The projects this month are amazing! I think I'm going to try to make a project that uses some of the Animal House Animals on envelopes.

Fun With Flamingos

Illustrations, Floyd and Frannie the Flamingos here for your card making fun! These guys were a specific request from the Technique Tuesday team. They said, "Draw flamingos!" I said, "I guess I can do that?" I did figure it out. Thank goodness for illustrator. Those legs would have been hard to free hand straight. One reason I wouldn't have thought of creating flamingos is that they are pink. That's it, just pink. No fun to color. BUT they have been more fun than I thought. The design team is creating beautiful projects!

Below Jill made a card with the flamingos and they are adorable! I'm still so thrilled to see what the design team comes up with when they play with the designs.

Frog Stamp Set

Soooo here's Felix! Felix the Frog is August (my birthday month) Animal House animal.  His little bugs were fun to come up with.  The sentiments the team thought of for the set are so clever!!  I colored this guy in Photoshop, which I never thought would be fun but turns out it's a blast! Hmmm what next?

Lorenzo the Llama Illustration

Below you see this funny llama, my illustration for July!  I am loving the clever biographies that my friend Teri writes for each animal.  Lorenzo is a comedian!  I also drew an owl for July. Her name is "Hi There Owl" if you want to go see her.  She has a flower crown. The design team is making some amazing projects with her.

I'm thinking about next month, I think I'll sketching a frog. Hopefully he turns out.  I think I'll name the frog Felix.

Watercolor Background Tutorial Video

I made this quick tutorial video showing how to make quick watercolor backgrounds for handmade cards or projects. Bev, my boss, narrated the video. She has a great "radio" voice. I love her narrations.

Illustrations and a Mouse

I've been busy working on this new release for Technique Tuesday!  We are launching cooking themed clear stamps and steel dies.  This is one of my favorite themes we've done so far.  Other than the music theme which I will share with you some other time.  Mouse Chef is one of my illustrations.  I released him awhile ago as a digital stamp but starting tomorrow he will be a real clear stamp sold in stores and on the Technique Tuesday web site. I'm so excited!

I'll share more designs and doodles that I'm working on in the next few days.  I have orders from the bosses to come up with a bunch of new little critters.

OH OH OH and there might be a new club or society offered soon....Hooray!
