This is the most boring painting I have ever painting. Not only is it boring, it's gloomy. Reminds me of a rain drenched day in Oregon. BLEH! Way gloomy and not my cup of tea.

Well after the whimsical owls I can see why you would say that, but it is simple and peaceful, and it is hard for me not to fill every inch. It is beautiful in its own right. Makes me take a deep breath...
Not as bad as you think. I think the top two have some nice depth going on and I like the colors. The bottom one has a nice POV (looking up). Oh...and rain drenched days in the NW can be kind of pretty--especially when there aren't 250 of them in a row ;)

They are beautiful in their simplicity. I like them very much. For some reason they make me think of the Little Prince - do you know it?
