SS PEACOCK TREE

All puffed up with words and vanity!  Can you see the peacock feathers hidden in the tree?  This was a free sketch tree my son challenged me to do.  He thinks that when I sketch the tree in pencil first I'm cheating (he's ten) SO, I free handed the tree in pen.  Kind of a fun and exciting way to draw.  You have to go with whatever lines you make.  As usual I feel like I'm sketching for ten minutes then fixing the last two hours. :)

I like your use of lines on the tree, and the cut-out page as leaves. It makes a really interesting image.

WHOOOOAAAAA!!!! This is the tree you drew at the zoo yesterday? Heck! I'd like to go drawing with you instead. This is wonderful!!! I love the idea of using the printed pages. How significant is that? Using leaves from the book as leaves on your trees. Very clever you are!!! YES!!!

Okay, do you mind if I do the same sometimes?

Wait, how could that be cheating when you sketch the outline of the tree first? You have to have a reference frame sometimes. Oh gee. Your son will flunk me. Heheh. I always draw a line somewhere on the board to anchor the subject. :)
