CAMPING ART

What do you do on a camping trip?  Hike? Cook smore's?  Tend to the fire? Maybe swim in the river?

My Niece Hayley and I make everyone contribute to our collaborative illustration picture.

It started with this house on a hill.  This house became a dog house thanks to Hayley.

My brother decided we needed an airplane...he always ads an airplane to any drawing! An airplane or helicopter. My DH added these beautiful pink clouds, perfect for unicorns to leap over.

My oldest was sure we needed a dancing squirrel on top of the tree.

My SIL added some sweet little tulips!

Every dog needs a magic hat. Don't you think?

What's a picture without a volcano?  In my house?  Not interesting at all. Awe, boys!

Hayley had so much fun embellishing the piece with some glitter nail polish.  What a handy way to carry some sparkles.  I would not have tried to pack glue and glitter on a camping trip. A bottle of nail polish is no biggie! We did do all the normal fun camping things too.  My boys would have freaked out if we sat around doing art the whole time.  Hayley and I had to catch them at the right moment when they were to exhausted to move away from us.  Forced art!!

What funny things do you do on camping trips?
