PUT MORE BIRDS ON IT!

This painting was fun....playing with my inktense colors!

Normally it would just be the watercolor.
This time I added the shiny ink for a finishing touch. What great shine!
The tiny birds were cut out of an old phone book. AND I did something backward from what I usually do.  I painted the sky first and then added the purple tree.  Last I added the pen and ink.  That is completely backward from my usual ink, tree, sky MO....cool.  Feels bijigity!  Must. Do. Things. In. Proper. Order....

Happy Paint Party Friday!
Happy In The Studio!

Bijigity? What a great word! Never heard it before but it must mean that trying a new MO lead to something wonderful. Love the birds and shiny ink. Very merry work with lots of energy. Proper order is a matter of just getting it done. :)

I love your trees, both this one and the one with the 2 owls. The way you make them twist and twirl is so much fun, and the whimsical little feathered folks are very sweet. Blessings!
