TREE PAINTING

JUST FINISHED!  Finally, this one took awhile.  I tried the limited palette for the trunk and didn't like the results.  SO I just whipped out all the paint and played with ALL the colors.

I love the depth of the rocks.  It's funny every time I look at it I will think of the Dr. Who episode I was watching when I finished it.  I know, as my sister says, "What a nerd!"

This is a beautiful and mysterious tree. It's clinging to the rocks, and it looks like hair blowing in the wind, waiting to turn by magic into a beautiful girl. I see a lovely story in this lovely painting.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something. I
think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that,
this is great blog. A great read. I'll definitely be back.
