USING PHOTOGRAPHIC INSPIRATION

I use photographs for inspiration.
I love palm trees. They make me smile. I think I mentioned this before, my name Tamara means palm tree!
Here are my inspired palm trees.
Clouds can be so expressive! This picture I took at a park up the hill above our house.
Lots of drama. With watercolor it's all about negative space. Preserving the white paper!
My dramatic cloudy sky.
Something I especially love are hills.
These pictures I took while riding in the car along I-5 (the main highway along the west coast) The camera did a pretty good job!  Not my new nice camera, my old digital.
The hills in my brothers painting.  I like this painting but it's just a little to busy for me.  I want to try another one that is more focused on the hills!
What are your favorite reference photographs?

Happy PPF! Happy SS!

I love palm trees too, not that I get to see many where I am! Particularly like your 1st picture, can just imagine the branches getting whipped by the wind

And clouds ... I love them too, doesn't matter if they bring the rain

Lovely pictures!

I loved seeing how you use photos for your inspiration. I tend to be too literal with my photo usage. I'm inspired by your approach. Beautiful trees!!
