SOMETHING DIFFERENT!

A family divided! No one can agree. I guess you either hate it or love it. I love it...I love strange! The boys, not so much. My sis, who usually is on my side does not like it. My MIL loves it! So fun to see peoples reactions to something different. More to come.....

I was searching artists on the internet and I stumbled across your website. Your paintings caught my eye; I think they are very interesting. As an art history major, I have seen countless numbers of paintings of trees, but yours is different. I like the bright colors you use, and the difference in hues as the eye gazes across the painting . The distortion of the tree and the outcrop it sits upon remind me of a Tim Burton movie. The curvature of the arms of the tree would especially be present in a Tim Burton movie, which is probably why I find your art so unique! I really like your painting below as well- both are paintings of trees and both are so different from each other. The sky in the painting below really stands out to me. Well I just wanted to stop by and say how much I enjoy your artwork!

Good to see you back. I think your tree looks a bit alien but I love it! Your colors are wonderful and the tree looks so alive, but maybe like it is going to walk away to a new place! I hope you like rain.

Glad you are back - yes the weather does turn us into wrinkly prunes - very funny but unfortunately so true. Maybe our skin will age better... We have sun today so maybe we will dry out. I like this painting, reminds me of me trying to hold on against all odds. Different is good!

I love it! I love the weirdness, and the movement. It reminds me of those trees that the Japanese use for bonsai - the ones that are up high on the mountain, and just barely clinging to the rock, but rugged as heck! It's a survivor tree! :) xox! Pam
