Monster In A Journal

Doesn't that paper look like the best?  It's super thick and soaks up watercolor like a sponge. I love it!  Made this monster, inspired by Snippers blog post awhile back.  I'm working out reflection in eyes on my characters.  I don't quite have it.  Andy says it looks like he's wearing socks.  No that his feet color! He has dirty feet.
I used Lyra Derwent waxy colored pencils and watercolor pencils. Looking forward to checking out what my Paint Party Friends are up too!

Love your monster. Should be scary with all those teeth, but is actually really sweet ... ;-)

He look's fierce with those sharp teeth, but I think your monster really has a big heart. He really looks like he belongs in that cool antique looking book. Blessings!
