HOOTS

Cute "hoots" in a tree!  I wanted this painting to have sharp and dark lines for the tree.  Gentle fine lines for the owls.  Making a contrast.....worked out better than I thought.  I was wondering if it would be a harsh contrast?

I think it's very cool! I left for work very early this morning and as I walked down the steps of my porch I heard an owl hooting in the big trees that border our property. I waited a minute and he hooted again! I'm never up this time of morning and it was such a wonderful thing. It just made me grin! Love your owls...and your beautiful way with trees!

What a hoot! (Couldn't resist).

The contrast 'makes you look'. At first glance, I didn't see the owls and had to come in closer. It was a pleasure.
