BLEACH PEN ART

Bleach pen seahorse project!  I made this seahorse for my sis-in-law's Mom.  Hope she liked it!  I'm noticing Tommy is eating some eggs in the back ground.  Funny!  We are always sharing space in our tiny I mean, cozy house :)
Bleach pen is NOT easy to work with.  It likes to glob out of the tube and there are tons of air bubbles in the bottle.  Another one of those project where I start the drawing and the rest of the time I just fix and fix and fix.  It's a big mistake made to look like it was on purpose.  Ever feel like you're working like that?
AND different brands of bleach pen work differently.  The bleach pen made for whites was intense and really bleached the color out.  The regular bleach pen it much lighter giving a batik look.  It was fun.  A challenge and I like a challenge!
Andy's first dance last Friday night.  So cute!

Your bleach pen creation is outstanding. What a gorgeous seahorse. I don't think I am brave enough to take on working with bleach. Great for you!!!! Happy PPF

Why, yes, I've had many projects that felt like I was trying to make my mistakes look like they were on purpose...more than I'd like to admit actually. :-)

I would have probably painted the bleach on with a paintbrush (can you do that?). Otherwise, I would have had bleach everywhere!

I'm swinging by via Studio JRU. Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Anna K.

Wow…fab job with the seahorse!
Yeh, I have those fix moments like at the moment with my ghost cat painting but almost out of the danger zone…lol.
Anyway, your fix moments are undetectable and perfect!
Handsome son by the way , his first dance pic is a cute one….wish my kids had been brave enough for some pics …too slow behind the lens I'm afraid ; (

p.s. I had forgotten the immense art work on PPF and what lessons can be taken from all of the artists, glad to be back.
